We should continue the fight for the values which inspired the Remain campaign. Here is one such democratic way in which to do so.
Whilst respecting the verdict (however narrow) of the #Brexit vote, the UK’s robust democratic process also allows us to petition the government for the issue to be reconsidered. I have signed the petition – especially as post Brexit polls suggest that over 50% of people who voted leave (a) did not actually think the UK would Leave and (b) many would now reconsider. I urge friends to do the same. It has already got over 1.6m signatures.
