I admit that I have been sceptical of “Congress Mukht Bharat” – not as a statement of political ambition, but as a realistic goal within a generation – as the Congress Party has been since India’s independence the predominant political force by far.
Well, going by this map I may be being proved wrong faster than I could have imagined. The Congress Party and the Nehru/Gandhi family have become so synonymous with corruption that it seems the Indian public are recognising this via the ballot box.
