Was a guest speaker at Chatham House – The Royal Society of International Affairs in London this evening.
Delighted at the wide and varied questions following my opening remarks ranging from Indo-Pak relations, the Indian Budget, the RSS and how Modi will handle centre-state relations. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A privilege in fact to be speaking at such a prestigious institute.
The is the place where the Chatham House Rule comes from. Some people mistake the rule for meaning total confidentiality. Others refer to “Rules”. There is only one rule and this is it…interesting!
BTW the event I spoke at was not under the rule.
